The design mark of every Camden Handkerchief is its corner flag. The corner flag is a daring contrast color triangle, neatly sewn in the top left corner of your handkerchief—most are limited edition prints available while they last.

Yarn dyed fabric is made from fibers that are dyed before being woven. These fabrics are superior because their patterns are the same on both sides. Unlike a stamped or printed fabric, yarn dyed wovens don’t have a “wrong side.” Because Camden Handkerchiefs are always made with woven fabric, they are soft and lovely front & back.

Camden Handkerchiefs are all about twelve inches square; the size varies just a little with each design so that the finished edge lines up perfectly with the pattern in the fabric.

Every Camden Handkerchief is finished with mitered corners. It takes extra time but they’re a little sturdier and a lot prettier—it’s all in the details.

For the handkerchief enthusiast, we make a highly detailed contrast edge design. These Collector Edition handkerchiefs are made with three different fabrics—a woven cotton body , a contrast print edge, and a charming flag to tie them together. These collectable designs are only available in limited quantities.

If you love a classic, the Daily Edition handkerchief is for you. It is made with a woven cotton body, mitered corners, and a charming contrast print flag.

While the Collector and Daily Edition handkerchiefs are perfect in your pocket, we also make them both in a looped design. With an elastic loop stitched into the corner flag, your handkerchief can be conveniently hooked inside a tote, backpack, or coat. If you’d like to tuck one away, just roll it up and the elastic loop will hold it tight.

All of our fabrics are machine washed with natural softeners and tumbled dry. Fabric for every handkerchief is freshly laundered and preshrunk before being cut & sewn. When it’s ready to wash, feel free to toss your Camden Handkerchief in with your daily laundry; it was made for your machines.

It’s worth noting that in the US we use more than 250 BILLION tissues per year. While disposables may be preferred for a cold or flu, a handkerchief goes a long way towards ebbing the tissue tide when used for daily sniffles or seasonal allergies. Having a hanky handy might create an eco-happy habit.
